Every single line of this article is well written. New use of vocabulary is a great effort. At the same time tense, indirect speech was also sued in good manner.Dell Cleaning Tape Cartridgegibsonherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11924228229369739485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2117736285291745235.post-85718205571506935822017-11-14T11:29:41.390+00:002017-11-14T11:29:41.390+00:00A writer should always try to keep its writing ver...A writer should always try to keep its writing very simple and clear. Always use facts which are easily acceptable by general people because they are very close to their assumptions and they welcome such kind of facts.lenovo server ราคาgibsonherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11924228229369739485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2117736285291745235.post-53930676089420762172012-09-30T21:39:42.080+01:002012-09-30T21:39:42.080+01:00Congrats Alex. I like Murat's advice about making yourself familiar with the rushes, always a good idea (especially when considering pickups and additional sound/quality of dialogue. I also like your plan to split everything into Performance, Visual and Audio (always good to see a director taking notes on the audio too) This will undoubtedly help further down the line when completing the cut, taking out scenes that just don't work or trimming the length / re-working the order of the clips. Of course, a good editor will certainly make this process easier for you, continually offering up alternatives.

It would be a good idea to start shaping up the audio whilst your cutting too, thinking about music cues, ALT dia takes (boom/radio) and wildtracks + SFX you may require. This may save time during sound post & will definitely be welcomed by the sound post house (if only to get you familiar with the audio you would like to hear in your film). It's always advisable to work in project reels (max. length standard 2100ft / 22mins reels) typically 5 reels per 90min film, thinking about the overlap process (to cut the reels at scene changes without music/continuous sounds would be best) Working in reels also improves work-flow and project management. We would certainly encourage this way of working. Did you shoot 24 or 25fps? You should be aware that sound for 35mm is at 24fps and may need to be pitched down 4% if shot at 25fps (when a film is shot at 25fps and played back at 24fps, the sound drops in pitch around 4%), depending on content (teenage kids, female's etc) could sound a little low and unnatural - just something to be aware of.

As you will working with reels, exporting OMF sound project reels with TC and 5 second handles is what you should be aiming for 24-bit/48k standard.

Dreambase Studios wishes you and your team all the very best on the post production of your film and do drop me a line if you have any sound related questions or would like us to help in any way.

Best Regards,
Mark

Mark Kenna AMPS | Director
www.dreambasestudios.comDreambase Studioshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09598131397556993368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2117736285291745235.post-84132057027485424632010-07-16T10:48:02.124+01:002010-07-16T10:48:02.124+01:00Congrats on locking in the cast. I know that 'Milk Man' is doing very well at festivals and picking up awards, but I haven't heard about the others. Perhaps at some point I'll contact all the filmmakers who have screened at our events and do a blog post to bring us all up to date.

All the best,
AlexLife Just Ishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15575387321797155578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2117736285291745235.post-90555159356570514412010-04-03T22:44:22.096+01:002010-04-03T22:44:22.096+01:00That's some nice hand movements from me there!...That's some nice hand movements from me there!

Was a good night. Great to see shorts like 'How It's Done' and 'The Girl With Stories in Her Hair' again. It was like a mini Filmstock reunion!

As a point of contact, do you know what's going on re the life of these films at the moment? More and more fests, shurely?

Am looking forward to the next networking night too! :)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13704141069338673489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2117736285291745235.post-79726059425968031602009-07-22T11:29:51.243+01:002009-07-22T11:29:51.243+01:00Thanks Vedran!
